Celebrations & Festivals
Maple Village Waldorf School participates in a wide scope of celebrations and festivals both in the classroom and as a full community such as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Black History Month, the Lunar New Year, Nowruz (Persian New Year and first day of Spring), Earth Day, May Fair, Indigenous People’s Day, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), our Harvest Faire which celebrates harvest rituals and festivals from around the world, Hanukkah, Long Beach Christmas Parade and Winter Spiral among others. We are continually adding festivals and celebrations as we strive to acknowledge and honor our school’s unique multicultural and diverse community.

Our Support
We believe Waldorf Education should be accessible to anyone who seeks it. Our school represents an economically diverse community as well and offers financial assistance to those who qualify. We have also expanded our early drop off and after school programs to support working parents.
